Mililani

Mililani is a Castle & Cooke Homes development that broke ground in the 1970s, starting with Mililani Makai and ending up in Mililani Mauka.  It sits on grounds that were formerly plantation land owned by Castle & Cooke.  The last homes were built and sold in 2008, including many "perimeter" lots with expansive views.

In 1986 Mililani was named an All America city, and is the only community in Hawaii to ever receive this distinction.  The last census was in 2010 and reflected a population of 27,629, citing 9,272 single family homes and a 76.5% owner-occupancy ratio.

There are 7 Recreation Centers as part of the Mililani Town Association, which is a mandatory membership that costs approximately $34 per month.  There are also amenities such as the Golf ClubTheaters24 Hour Fitness as well as several shopping areas and eateries, all conveniently located.  This community is also well-known for their incredible education system, and is highly sought after as an alternative to costly private schooling.
